Today I discovered the tree view for VSCode’s source control panel and it has been a blessing. For those times when I have lots of changes scattered across a lot of files, viewing the source control panel in this format helps makes me make sense of how the changes map to the folder hierarchy of my project

Use the three dot menu above the commit box. If you don’t see it (as it get’s hidden sometimes), ensure to resize / expand your source control panel.
